Competitive Programs

Our Swim Ottawa Age Group Competitive Swim Club is for ages 8 and up and runs from September to mid-June (July for Provincial and National qualifiers). It's imperative to know what it takes to join our sucessful club!

Competitive: Committed to excellence through a dedicated training program and swim competitions. 


  • Senior A (approval by coach Marie) 9 practices a week. Registration fees are $2375 (additional fees of $125 sanctioning and $800 for meet/equipment required).
  • Senior B ( approval by coach Marie) 7 practices a week. Registration fees are $2055 (additional fees of $125 sanctioning  and $800 for meet/equipment required).
  • Junior A (approval by coach Sheri) 6 practices a week. Registration fees are $1685 (additional fees of $125 sanctioning and $600 for meet/equipment required).
  • Junior B (approval by coach Sheri) 4 practices a week. Registration fees are $1455 (additional fees of $125 sanctioning $600 for meet/equipment required).
  • Development (generally ages 8-10, new to Comp level or approval by coach Trevor) 3-4 practices a week. Registration fees are $1215 (additional fees of $125 sanctioning and $600 for meet/equipment required).

    Competitive Levels Senior A, Senior B, Junior A, Junior B, Development (ages 8 years +)

    New swimmers MUST email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it    in advance so we can discuss appropriate levels, coach introduction, and swimmer/parent commitments. Swimmer evaluation may be required.

    For Comp (NOTE--form and payment must be received before 1st practice!):

    Step 1.  Competitive Registration Form and 2011-2012 Swimmer/Parent Handbook (practice schedule included). Carefully read the Handbook along with your swimmer as it contains important information such as payment schedule, cancellation and penalty fees, and Code of Conduct;

    Step 2. Fill out and sign the Registration Form. Send to mailing address indicated on the form;

    Step 3. Fill out and submit the required Comp Equipment for your level before September 15th (particularly for family name caps). Make sure sizes are accurate. Funds will be withdrawn from your swimmer account fee that is part of your registration payment.
