Here's what has been updated:

  • Pre-comp Fun Meet Sat Feb 25, 4:15-5:30 pm. All Minnows, Guppies, Whales, and Youth are encouraged to attend and participate. We need parents to help time, setup/teardown pool.
  • Early Spring registration for our current members on until mdnight March 1st. After which, new members will be allowed to sign up for open spots in our pre-comp program. Click here to register. Note that payment must be received in order for your registration to be finalized and your spot secured.
  • Comp June XtraSlush meet in Montreal has been cancelled due to host club refusal to pay increased rental rates. We are looking at alternative venues.

EARLY Registration Starts for Spring Session (Mar-May)

Early registration deadline and payment for current members is March 1st midnight. After which, new members will be allowed to register should spots be available. 

Competetive and Pre-competitive registration continues. See the Competitive Program page, the Pre-comp Program, or Youth Program page for details on how to register. The Pre-comp program starts March 20th week and resumes until May 26th, 2012. The will be a summer session in July-August. Hope to see you poolside!

New Swimmer Evaluations for 2011-2012 Season

New swimmers who would like to be evaluated for Precomp (Minnows, Guppies. Whales) and Competitive for the 2011-2012 season are required to do a 10 minute evaluation. This includes swimmer transfers to our Competitive club as well. Please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and include name, age of swimmer and desired level. We will confirm the evaluation date/time.

Effective August, 2011, the Gefilte Fish Swim Club has officially been renamed Swim Ottawa (SWOTT). Our great tradition over the past ten years evolves with the name change...but with the same club philosophy and makeup. What's in a name? We expect to continue our successful development of precomp up to our competitive members in the years ahead. Join us and ride our wave!
